In the spring of 2015, we started renting out properties in Tilburg, and we discovered that there was a high demand for furnished rent.
Our offer now consists of more than 50 fully equipped homes. Flexibility is our top priority. You can rent from us for shorter or longer periods. Our colleagues are ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our goal is to welcome you, take over your worries and make you feel at home.
Short stay means that a house is rented for a short period. This is in deviation from the "usual" renting, which often takes place indefinitely. We only offer short stay based on "all-in" rent.
The offer of Swan Short Stay only consists of houses that are modern furnished and upholstered. They are also equipped with pans, cutlery, bed and white goods, microwave, etc. for comfortable living experience. The rent also includes gas, water, electricity, television, and the internet.
To make short-term rent possible, all homes are modern furnished, upholstered and equipped with furniture. Also, we have pre-arranged things like gas, water, electricity, television, and the internet. In this way, we can offer you customized service. "Relieve" is our starting point.
Usually, the minimum rental period is one month. If you are looking for living space for a shorter period, do not hesitate to contact us for a customized rental period.
After there has been mutual contact and a certain degree of trust has been built up, we will send you the rental agreement and the general terms and conditions by e-mail. You can then read these through and if agreed upon, sign the agreement and return it to us by e-mail.
You can generally register with the municipality of Tilburg. Please note: after the end of the rental period you must show proof of deregistration. The deposit will then be returned, provided that the property has been left clean and free of damage.
We ask you to pay a deposit in advance. The amount of the deposit depends on the rental period and the property in which you are staying. If you have left the property on departure as you had received it on arrival, damage-free and clean, we will return the deposit within two weeks of your departure.
Payment is generally made by bank transfer. We also accept payment with the following credit cards: Master Card, Visa, and American Express.
In exceptional cases you can, upon consultation with us, pay on arrival. This can be done by debit card, PayPal or credit card.
You will receive an invoice every month from Stichting Swan Cliëntengelden (Swan Client-funds Foundation), which collects the rent on behalf of all interested parties.
Because of our range of flexible rental periods, a fixed price cannot be determined in advance.
Taxes may never be included in the service costs because it is not a service that the lessor offers.
In practice, the municipalities often impose the waste levy and user sewer levy on the owner/lessor. However, the owner/lessor can then pass these on to the tenant. In the event that the sewerage charge is split into an owner's and a user's part, both may be passed on to the tenant. Water board tax may also be passed on to the tenant.
The tenant pays the local taxes if he/she has registered with the municipality of Tilburg (GBA). If a tenant hasn't registered, the owner pays.
We would like to hear from you when you arrive at the location. We will then be on site for a personal welcome, explanation of the facilities, information about the area, house rules and transfer of the key to your new home.
With some of our offered homes you can, but not with others. Please place a special request for pets with your application.
